COVID-19 Policies

Dolby Theatre maintains health and safety protocols which are essential to providing a safe environment for staff and visitors of all ages, including families with children who cannot be vaccinated. Admittance to Dolby Theatre requires proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. This policy is in accordance with the Health Officer Order for Mega Events issued by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Please see below for rules and information specific to your event type.

CONCERTS & EVENTS
(Excluding Broadway In Hollywood)

Ticketholders 2 and over must show proof of full vaccination status or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event.

“Fully vaccinated” means you are at least 14 days past your final vaccine dose. 

PCR or antigen tests administered by a medical provider will be accepted (no at-home tests allowed).

Photo ID must also be presented by guests 18 and over.

Masks are required for guests 2 and over and may only be removed while actively eating or drinking in designated areas. Gaiters, bandanas, and masks with exhalation valves are not permitted.

Broadway in Hollywood asks audiences to join with them in providing the safest space possible for patrons, cast, crew, and staff. Their COVID-19 policy requires ticketholders to wear masks and to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

“Fully vaccinated” means your performance is at least 14 days after your final vaccine dose. Boosters are not required at this time. To enter the theatre, please bring a photo ID and proof of vaccination, either your physical vaccination card, a photo of your vaccination card, or a digital vaccination record.

Guests under age 12 or those who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to a sincerely held religious belief must provide proof of one of the following:

  • Negative COVID-19 PCR test performed by a medical provider within 72 hours of the performance start time. Test results must clearly show the date and time of the test. At-home tests will not be accepted.

    OR

  • Negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test performed by a medical provider within 12 hours of the performance start time. Test results must clearly show the date and time of the test. At-home tests will not be accepted.

Children under 5 will not be admitted to the theatre.

Masks are required for all ticketholders, regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking in designated areas.

This vaccination policy is in effect for all performances until further notice and will be re-assessed on an ongoing basis.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY RELATING TO CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19

COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather, including theatres. The Dolby Theatre (the “Theatre”), in compliance with guidelines issued by federal, state, and local governments, has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the Theatre. Notwithstanding these preventative measures, visiting the Theatre could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19 including from patrons, guests, and other individuals in the Theatre.

By purchasing tickets and/or accessing the theatre, you acknowledge the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and VOLUNTARILY ASSUME THE RISK THAT YOU MAY BE EXPOSED TO OR INFECTED BY COVID-19 BY ENTERING THE THEATRE AND THAT SUCH EXPOSURE OR INFECTION MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, PERMANENT DISABILITY, AND/OR DEATH.
